Sex, Lies & the FBI

Current FBI Director Christopher Wray doesn’t look like James Comey, he sure as hell acts and sound like him during the Judiciary Committee hearing yesterday…

We had such high hopes for the new FBI Director but after the big show in yesterday’s hearing, it became abundantly clear, while the face has changed, the game remains the same.

Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) laced into Director Wray during the Congressional Judiciary Committee Hearing yesterday as he sought explanation for use of the infamous dossier (dressed up to look like legitimate intelligence briefing) to obtain FISA warrants to spy on the Trump campaign and transition team. The stunning narrative was not new but Jordan’s rendition made it clear, corruption was afoot and Wray wasn’t giving up the ghost or make any effort to offer a plausible or acceptable explanation.

By now, we know about the FBI brass who had an affair with his married co-worker and exchanged 10,000 text messages, some of which (anti-Trump) led to his dismal from the Robert Mueller investigative team farce. Therefore, this story has all the hallmarks of a great Hollywood drama, filled with sex, corruption and a plot line consisting of the great divide between good and evil!

Diligent Media journalists like Circa’s Sara Carter and Sean Hannity (along with Conservative Talk Radio stars, Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin) have already uncovered this governmental anti-Trump plot for months, even though no one had the specific name Peter Strzok. It was very apparent the fact chain was forming through evidence and sources of what was really going on within the FBI along with the Clinton campaign, DNC and trumped up dossier which consisted of nefarious and false information, designed to derail Trump’s presidential campaign.

Of course, the fake news media (aka mainstream media) just chalked up these findings to some conspiracy theory without grounds. However, as more information comes forth about DOJ’s removals of people like former  Deputy Attorney General Peter Ohr, everyone in the media is now starting to find the legs in what was once called conspiratorial bantering of the big Right Wing Conspiracy against Clinton!

This situation doesn’t bode well for the new director because Wray did the standard Comey shuffle – which included talking up the FBI and droning on and on about their ‘hard work.’ If anything, he would’ve been better off staying home because his explanations and failure to understand the scope within the Judiciary Committee’s purvey (re: FISA and clearance) were stunning displays of the cover up we’ve all grown accustom with Comey’s deceptive testimonies over the last couple years.

Here is just a smidgen of the facts as rolled out by the testimony from yesterday’s hearing:

REP. JIM JORDAN: My hunch is it has something to do with the dossier

Did Peter Strzok help produce and present the application to the FISA court to secure a warrant to spy on Americans associated with the Trump campaign?

CHRISTOPHER WRAY, FBI: I’m not prepared to discuss anything about a FISA process in this setting.

JORDAN: We’re not talking about what happened in the court, we’re talking about what the FBI took to the court. The application. Was Peter Strzok involved in taking that to the court?

WRAY: I’m not going to discuss anything to do with the FISA court applications.

JORDAN: Remember a couple things, director… about the dossier. The Democratic National Committee and the Clinton campaign –which we now know were one in the same– paid the law firm, who paid Fusion GPS, who paid Christopher Steele, who then paid Russians to put together a report we call the dossier, filled with all kinds of fake news National Enquirer garbage.

It has been reported that this dossier “was all dressed up” by the FBI, taken to the FISA court where it was painted as a legitimate intelligence document, that it became the basis for granting a warrant to spy on Americans.

I’m wondering if that all actually took place, it sure looks like it did…

I think Peter Strzok, head of counterintelligence at the FBI, Peter Strzok, the guy who ran the FBI’s Clinton investigation, did all the interviews, Peter Strzok, the guy who was running the Russia investigation at the FBI, Peter Strzok, Mr. Super Agent at the FBI, I think he is the guy that took the application to the FISA court.

And if this happened, if you have the FBI working with the Democrats’ campaign, to take opposition research, dress it all up and turning it into an intelligence document to take it to a FISA court so they can spy on another campaign, if that happened, that is as wrong as it gets…

You could clear it all up, we sent you a letter two days ago. Just release the application, tell us what was in it. Tell us if I’m wrong. But I don’t think I am. I think that is exactly what happened, and people who did that need to be held accountable.

Looking at this dialogue, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist or even a psychic to realize what Jordan is implying and the fact is, it feels true. From all we’ve seen from the FBI and  DOJ over the last couple years, this narrative fits everything like a well-tailored leather glove. Honestly, there’s no room for misinterpretation here.

We all had an inkling the Clinton’s own machine had its tentacles everywhere in our government but the situation just proved to be much worse than we initially thought.Ever since the dossier was publicized on BuzzFeed, puzzle pieces have come forth to paint a very dark, disturbing picture of just how politicized our Justice Department has become over the last campaign.

This makes political activism from behind the bench pale in comparisons.

If you wondered what the tyranny the founding fathers warned us about, this is the prime example of how corruption has eroded a once-honored agency within our Federal Judicial System.

The following is the whole exchange between Rep. Jordan and Dir. Wray.

One has to wonder if the 702 should be halted because clearly, given this situation, the privilege has been abused by our Justice Department! Just something to think about as that program comes up for renewal here shortly.
