A President for the People

A President for the People

Current Affairs, Inspiring Moments, White House News
Wanted to share this private moment between a fallen hero's son and President Trump. It's moments like these that demonstrate the President's love of both the People and our culture. His heart comes shining through to the point where even the most jaded media has nothing to rebut. Little Christian Jacobs got a meeting of a lifetime when he got to show President Trump his father's grave. Christian's father, Sgt. Christopher Jacobs died in 2011 when he was just 3 months old. Today, he got to tell his story to the President and Vice President without using Twitter or any other form of social media/MSM filter. Instead, he got to show him his father's grave personally and have a conversation with a man who can (and mostly will) change his world for the better. Today during the Memoria...

MEMORIAL DAY: A Day of Remembrance

Current Affairs, Events, History, Inspiring Moments
Today was the first time in 8 years I watched the Arlington Cemetery ceremony - not because I'm not patriotic or take for granted the sacrifices made by our fallen heroes but because knowing what Obama is, it all seemed to be pomp and circumstance fakery. The ceremony today with President Trump's remarks provided a refreshed inspiration after a successful world tour which boasted not of apologies but of greatness and deference to our country. It was an affirmation of what our values and culture is really all about and why we cannot let liberalism or the political class establishment continue to corrode our society and erode our precious history. Sure, our history isn't perfect but neither is any other country on this earth. We've made mistakes and had missteps but in every instance w
TRUMP: Not Just a President

TRUMP: Not Just a President

History, Inspiring Moments, President Trump
It would be lovely if when people completely vilify President Donald Trump, they would remember, this man is also someone's grandfather. They seem to forget the humanity behind the public image and often take cheap shots like at the Oscars last night. Some day, these two beautiful children will see their rantings and though they will understand as adults how Liberals often use personal smears to make up for their side not having any stance, they will still be hurt because he is their grandfather. Liberals should think before speaking - but then again, if they did that, they would betray their legacy of division and radicalism. How many liberals can say they've done anything for anyone else but themselves? I'm sure there's a story or two out there but one is hard pressed to ferret them o...

It's stunning to see the Mainstream Media has neglected on thing about our new President Elect Donald J. Trump. For the first time since possibly our Founding Fathers, he is a person who wasn't groomed throughout his adult life to be a president. He is the epitome of the Outsider that many (obviously) have more faith in, rather than sticking with status quo candidates possessing years of professional political work and alliances. Unlike any of his opponents, Trump is not of the norm. He's never been in any elected office. Hence, this may explain a lot of the resistance DC has had towards him. He is unique because he's accomplished to overcome gaffs that other politicians have fallen to and come out ahead. He has waved off opposition, nay-saying and other hurdles to accomplish a great fe...

What a night we've had...what an election. Donald J. Trump and Vice President elect, Mike Pence, have had quite a journey and we've been with them pretty much every step of the way. It's not been easy...not even by any stretch of the imagination. To most of my readers, as you know I've been silent over the past couple days because I was just waiting to see how all this would shake out. Have to admit, I felt a collective sigh of relief when Pennsylvania delivered the final 20 electoral votes to push him over the 270 mark by 4. Just amazing to witness this history-making moment in our history. Many Founding Fathers are shining down on us now, knowing that we chose to preserve our Constitution rather than fall into a world of Spirit Cooking and God only knows what... Yes, this is the...

It’s All In The Family: Trump Style

Election News, Inspiring Moments, Media, Trump News
We knew Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr from Trump's hit show, The Apprentice and Celebrity Apprentice. They were the overseers of many projects on both shows, but seldom did they discuss anything than the matters at hand. They were household names, yet they remained an enigma to many watching the weekly contests as celebrities and everyday people vied for the big finale. During this week's RNC Convention, we've had a glimpse into the personal life of Donald J. Trump. From his children's view, we learned about his hard work ethic and strong moral character. While the MSM continues to accentuate much more negatives than positives, the Trump Children have persevered to provide voters and delegates why their support for their father is well earned. In an interview with Sean Hannity, ...

PM Margaret Thatcher Had It Right…

History, Inspiring Moments, International Politics
With all this talk about Socialism now days, it seems that many don't truly understand the premise of the idea. Often, it's mistaken as Marxism or Communism; however, it's the bedrock of the two while the latter becomes more bent on Fascism and easier to exploit by the community leaders. In her argument with Parliament, she lays out very clearly what the main objectives are within the Socialism Ideology succinctly. Thus, she shines a bright light on a often misunderstood subject. These brief exchanges took place during Margaret Thatcher's last speech in the House of Commons on 22 November 1990.
Reagan Showed Grace Under Fire

Reagan Showed Grace Under Fire

History, Inspiring Moments, Presidential
Back in 1976, Ronald Reagan had gone through a very heated primary with President Gerald Ford. Instead of doing what Ted Cruz (R-TX) did last night by failing to put his country before his personal slights, then candidate Reagan supported his party without a glimmer of doubt. As you will see in his speech at the 1976 RNC Convention, Reagan showed the country and the world, he was a better person than all the scuffle. He demonstrated to us why he was worthy of his landslide just a mere four years later after one term of Democrat President, Jimmy Carter. It's a shame when politicians let their emotions get the better of them. Grudges have no place in our arenas when so much is at stake! It's also sad to see Cruz supporters still beating their tired drums, when it's over. Some have cla...

A Time For Choosing…

Inspiring Moments
Dear Friends, In such troubling times, perhaps it's time to gain some perspective. With so little patriotic leadership in our midst, it's time to go back to history to reclaim our patriotic spirit and love for America and all her founding principles. No better man to do look to for guidance in our times than future President Ronald Reagan. His words while 52 years old, are still as germane today as they were many decades ago. Below is the whole transcript from Ronald Reagan's stirring 1964 speech for Barry Goldwater during a televised political rally. While I am posting the video for you to watch, please also read the transcript. It is most awakening for even those in the deepest slumber. A TIME FOR CHOOSING (The Speech – October 27, 1964) Thank you. Thank you very mu
Independence?

Independence?

History, Inspiring Moments, Issues, Presidential
By Thornton Crowe As published on Salisbury News On Independence Day weekend, I thought about what this holiday's remembrance is really all about and why it's meaning now is more pertinent than ever before in most our lives. For those who embrace this election's importance, this is a somber holiday - not just an excuse for a three-day weekend. Our founding fathers had great ideas. They were educated men consisting of landowners, lawyers, inventors, philosophers and business owners, who carefully thought out the way to govern the new nation. They had a combined focus and goal to eradicated themselves from the Crown and launch a most extraordinary experiment. The United States of America. The two main ideas became apparent in their planning. A) To guarantee inalienable rights ...
